The library, actually. I figured someone might as well try to make sense of some of the stuff in these books.

Problem being the books don't want to be read.

I've been trying to dig into their code since I got here.

You happen to notice that the locals aren't that happy with us being here? That COMPASS is intruding here? I think they'd be rid of all of us if they could.

And they might have a way to do it. Suppose we got our hands on it instead.

Can we? How would we find out? They don't speak to us; most of the time, I wonder if they realize we're here at all.

If they have it somewhere on record, we won't have to talk to them.

I'm more than willing to help, but do you have an approach? A way to pinpoint it beyond scouring the city?

It's been broken into a few times. Usually when the cultists appear.

I've wondered if there's some correlation, but there's no way to tell until they show up again. Not the news you were hoping for, I know.

Not exactly. But are their appearances random, or is there a pattern to it?

There may be a pattern to the timing. I'll know more the next time it happens.

I for one enjoy the peace and quiet of not having people trying to set themselves on fire. Or undead and sandstorms being summoned up. I don't want to think on what the next cult might be about.

Then how do we befriend them? Infiltrate them and stop the horrors from happening along with gaining access to what it is we want?

Maybe that isn't the BEST word for it, but ally with them. We could accomplish more if we gained their trust.
